VIRGINIA
"Virginia is our home. Its proud history tells the story of who we are. Its mountains, rivers and valleys help shape us. Its communities and its people support us. Virginia is where we live.
Virginia is a rich and varied land. It has ocean beaches, costal plains, rolling hills, steep mountains, deep valleys, and much more. Virginia has five major land regions:
* The Tidewater (Coastal Plain)
* The Piedmont
* The Blue Ridge Mountains
* The Valley and Ridge
* The Applachian Plateau
Each of these regions has its own special qualities including many natural resources for its people to use."

This is a blog by a group of rising 4th and 5th grade students from the Bristol Virginia City Schools attending the 2007 -2008 Tech Academy. They will share with you some things they have learned about the five major regions of Virginia and perform via Podcast a rap they have written called "Virginia - It's a Rap."

It was fun today doing stuff on the computer. We did a rap and a blog. I learnd about the Tidewater Region.
Today was very fun and yesterday was too.I had an awesome time. We raped in our section today.
I learned to blog and make a rap song. It was fun and exciting. I want to come back next year.
Today and yesterday were so much fun. I'm going to be sad not being able to come because I'm going into the sixth grade I'm going going to miss it so much,so,I'm going to try to have as much fun as I can this year in tech team.
The past 2 days I have learned how to make a blog. It wasn't that hard to do because we learned because my social studies teacher Mrs.Dingus from lasrt year taught me all of my reagions.I also made a rap. I also learned how to make a podcast
